It is the weekend, which means Dragon Age: Inquisition players have a new multiplayer mission to complete. This week, agents will need to unleash the bees upon their enemies. Meeting the goals set by the Inquisition will reward the player with a personal Commendation Chest, and if each community meets their goal, players will also receive a Victory Chest.
This week’s challenge, aptly named “Mission: BEES!,” tasks players with using jars of bees in multiplayer missions. Like all multiplayer challenges a brief bit of lore is behind the release of the bees. Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s Nightingale explains that the bee supplier wants them released.
“When we made our arrangement with the beekeeper who supplies the Inquisition, it contained a promise that we would assist our ‘ally’ with a personal matter at a later date. The beekeeper now requests that we make good on that promise. When asked what he wanted, he simply tented his fingers and cackled, ‘Let them fly! Let them fly!’ Just smash as many jars as you can so we can get rid of this man. He’s starting to upset Josie.”
Agents will personally need to “unleash” 20 jars of bees for the Commendation Chest. The community goals are much higher, of course. The Playstation 4 community has highest requirement again this weekend. Players on the console will need to come together to smash 125,000 jars of bees. The PC and Xbox One platforms share a goal of 65,000 jars while players on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 need to use 35,000 jars of bees.

The new Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer challenge is also accompanied by a new multiplayer patch. The multiplayer changelog is available on the official forums and reveals that potions have been improved. Healing Potions no longer heal for a static amount and instead completely refill a player’s health on use. Other potions like the Healing Mist Potion and Tears of the Dead have had their values increased while the Rock Armor potion now raises armor by 200 instead of 23. Even the Fire Resist and Cold Resist potions have increased by 10 percent.
Players not interested in the multiplayer of Dragon Age: Inquisition should still note that more story-based DLC is coming. As the Inquisitr cited after the release of “Jaws of Hakkon” on the Playstation 4 and last-generation consoles, creative director Mike Laidlaw confirmed that more single player content is coming.
