Jessica Child of the Wasteland

You might say Jessica is a preteen of the streets and a Wasteland Waif but you’ll never meet a sweeter kid. You can find her at Bunker hill mourning the loss of a friend. Jessica is fully hireable and uses the vanilla game femalechild voice with some editing, her dialogue is pretty basic with some comments and thoughts that are funny and serious, her combat dialogue is a bit limited but that’s due to the lack of it in the vanilla voice. She has a basic affinity system but no dialogue to go along with it. Her likes and dislikes are varied, she likes it when you scavenge from corpses and other places but she’s still fairly picky about what you take. She loves it when you find a comic book, what kid wouldn’t. She dislikes it if you’re mean. That’s just a sample of her likes and dislikes. By David Stonecipher It is the weekend, which means Dragon Age: Inquisition players have a new multiplayer mission to complete. This week, agents will need to unleash the bees upon their enemies. Meeting the goals set by the Inquisition will reward the player with a personal Commendation Chest, and if each community meets their goal, players will also receive a Victory Chest. This week’s challenge, aptly named “Mission: BEES!,” tasks players with using jars of bees in multiplayer missions. Like all multiplayer challenges a brief bit of lore is behind the release of the bees. Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s Nightingale explains that the bee supplier wants them released. “When we made our arrangement with the beekeeper who supplies the Inquisition, it contained a promise that we would assist our ‘ally’ with a personal matter at a later date. The beekeeper now requests that we make good on that promise. When asked what he wanted, he simply tented his fingers and cackled,… Continue reading

Destiny’s: Exotic Goods For Weekend Of June 12, Better Luck Next Week Edition

By Scott Grill Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is back in Destiny’s Tower, and he has Guardians saying, “Maybe next week.” PlayStation and Xbox players looking for a good Exotic armor piece or weapon from the “House of Wolves” are left in the cold once again. Even worse, what the mysterious vendor does offer wouldn’t be considered very good prior to the second expansion. Xûr can be found in the very back of the bar located underneath the Future War Cult in the hangar this weekend. It’s a long jog, but easy to find. Just turn left when you enter the hanger, go down the stairs to the left, and then straight back. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map just to be sure though. Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, June 7. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will… Continue reading

How To Make Sure The Steam Summer Sale Works For You

By Rachel Tsoumbakos It’s that time of year all gamers look forward to – the Steam Monster Summer Sale which will run from June 11 through to June 21, 2015. This year is no exception when it comes to great bargains to be had on games available via Steam. While there are plenty of games slashed to 75%, it might be time to step back from the mouse before clicking you way through what could, potentially, be a bucket-load of cash. Here’s some tips to make sure you get Steam gaming bargains and not heartache. According to Forbes, beware of buying games just because they are cheap otherwise you might just end up with a Steam account filled with games you will never play. “Just $4.99, you find yourself thinking — 20 or so times. And then you’ve got a library full of games you want to play but never will, a constant reminder of a string of bad decisions.”… Continue reading

‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of December 5

By Scott Grill This is the final week that Xûr, Agent of the Nine, visits the Tower in Destiny before the release of The Dark Below expansion. PlayStation and Xbox owners might want to hold off spending their Strange Coins on the Exotic armor and weapons due to the changes coming. There’s another new item you should probably buy instead. Those looking for Xûr should head turn right and head toward the hangar after spawning at the Tower. Once you’ve gone through the long hallway and entered the hangar, turn right and you will see the seller of Exotics. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map just to be sure though. Xûr and his items will only be available through the morning of Sunday, November 9. He disappears again once the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT. The Exotic armor and weapon available this week have all been sold by Xûr before. However, these… Continue reading

‘Elder Scrolls Online’ PS4 And Xbox One Release Slips To 2015, ‘Skyrim’ Thieving System Inbound

By Scott Grill The Elder Scrolls Online was originally slated to release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside the PC this past summer. The console release was then pushed off to an unspecified December 2014 release date. ZeniMax Online made official Thursday what was already known: the MMORPG will not make that release either. Game Director Matt Firor detailed some of the future updates coming to The Elder Scrolls Online in a post on the game’s website. After covering some of the updates delivered since the PC release, Firor confirmed the delay. “We couldn’t be more excited about everything there is to look forward to in 2015. We’ll be introducing some of the new systems that we’ve talked about publicly over the last couple of months, and of course, we will be bringing ESO to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,” he wrote. “As I’ve mentioned, we have been (and will continue to be) steadily working on the… Continue reading

‘Destiny’ Grind Now More Convoluted With Exotic And Legendary Changes

By Scott Grill Destiny appeared to have taken a giant step forward in reducing the grind with the recent 1.1 update. The grind of farming upgrade materials was significantly reduced along with the upgrade path for Exotic weapons and armor. However, Bungie revealed new details Wednesday for changes coming with The Dark Below DLC that seemingly adds in more grind for PlayStation and Xbox players in place of the ones that were taken away. As I reported for Inquisitr yesterday, the existing Legendary and Exotic items in Destiny will be replaced at the Tower and in drops with more powerful versions of each piece of armor and weapon. This is meant to help keep players from falling behind when the new, higher level gear in The Dark Below is introduced. However, it’s not a straight-forward swap and Bungie introduced more grind and complexity in the process. Legendary Problems Players can begin purchasing Legendary items today in Destiny once they’ve reached… Continue reading
